Waxhaw Water Tower and Open Space

Hwy 16 and North Main Street
Waxhaw, NC  28173

As water towers go, Waxhaw's vintage 1940 silver structure is a doozy.  The tower is a welcoming site to visitors and residents alike, and can be seen from most areas of downtown Waxhaw.  At Christmas-time, the tower even changes colors!

The open space at the foot of the tower is used primarily for events and festivals hosted by the Town of Waxhaw, including First Fridays, the Kaleidoscope Festival, Autumn Treasures, and the Holiday Festival of Lights.  In recent years the space has also been the site of a Christmas Eve service hosted by Five Stones Church.
